A rare Greensand, Upper Cretaceous Lobster from Lyme Regis, Dorset, England.

This specimen is a beautifully preserved Hoploparia longimana fossil, from the Inflatum Zone, Upper Greensand, Aptian, Lower Cretaceous deposits at Monmouth Beach. It does have some erosion to the tips of the claws.

This fossil is approximately 200 million years and measures 12.5 cm 4.75 inches

The Lobster has been re-attached to its stone matrix.
