Woodstone ammonite bed nodule from Black Ven cliff Lyme Regis
Jurassic, Approx 190 million years old

Multiple Promicroceras planicosta ammonites with Xiphoceras sp. Asteroceras confusum, cymbities sp. fish scales and a inner wing section of a  Dragonfly!

This woodstone has had many hours of careful preparation removing the surrounding rock from the fossils. Expertly prepared by Dave Halmkin.

The largest Ammonite measures approx. 2.5 cm at its widest point.
